Ms. Ijeoma Uju is a Partner at Templars, one of the largest and reputable law firms in Africa. She holds an LLB from the University of Ibadan and she is admitted to practice law in Nigeria with a BL from the Nigerian Law School. She is also a Chartered Secretary and Governance Specialist.
With almost two decades of experience as a commercial solicitor, she routinely advises on Nigerian law and policy affecting the operation of businesses across various sectors, the acquisitions, mergers and restructuring of businesses and foreign investments in Nigeria. She oversees a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, providing strategic advice and guidance on compliance and corporate governance to the boards of such companies.
In the course of her legal career, she has been involved in the establishment of several companies in Nigeria including start-ups, SMEs, NGOs, foreign subsidiaries and enterprises operating within and outside tax-free zones and she continues to render business-focused legal support throughout the lifespan of these companies.

Mrs. Angela Gbemisola Attah is a strategy consultant with 22 years of professional experience covering wealth management, private banking and strategy consulting. Her work experience spans Africa and Europe and covers institutions in both the public and private sectors. She is the Managing Partner of Alegna Global Partnerships Limited (AGPartnerships), a strategy consultancy focused on strategy and operational efficiency. She is also the Chairman/CEO of Simplified Credit, a web application providing solutions to facilitate the access of MSMEs to financing. This platform has provided service to over 350,000 MSMEs. She also serves as Chairman on the Board of a co-ed school with over 1,000 students and has over seven years of board and board committee experience.
Prior to AGPartnerships, Mrs. Attah worked at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, a foremost global strategy consulting firm and remains an Africa Adviser to the firm. She served on the ministerial committee for the implementation of the Nigerian Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) and the Government Integrated Financial and Management System (GIFMIS). Her experience in organisational development, operational efficiency and other strategy consulting areas has seen her support organisations across various sectors including oil & gas, financial services, real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, education, fashion, media and telecommunications. Importantly, she has advised state governors, heads of agencies and various CEOs. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Abuja, Nigeria and an MBA from INSEAD France and Singapore.

Ms. Tengi George-Ikoli is a lawyer and economist with experience in natural resource governance, extractives policy, and development. She is currently a Senior Program Officer at the US-based Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI) where she leads the national programme in Nigeria. While advancing global best practice principles such as the Natural Resource Charter (NRC) and the Extractives Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI), she contributed to efforts towards Nigeria's reform of its petroleum sector which culminated in the passage of its Petroleum Industry Act 2021.
At NRGI, she helps to advance the organisation's governance reform agenda in Nigeria, including technical assistance to civil society, media and government, advocating for transparency and accountability of Nigeria's oil and gas sector and a just, equitable and inclusive energy transition. She also encourages vigorous public debate on energy transition and its implications given Nigeria's dependence on its oil and gas sector. She represents the global reach seat on Publish What You Pay's global council. She holds a joint honours LLB in Law and Economics from the University of Wales, Swansea, and an LLM from the University of Bristol.

Dr. Mohammed Shuaibu is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Abuja, where he teaches macroeconomics, econometrics, and international economics at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He previously held a similar position at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Dr. Shuaibu has provided consultancy services to various international and national institutions, including the World Bank, where he focused on macro-fiscal issues, trade policy, regional integration, and trade facilitation. He supported development lending operations such as SFTAS, SABER, and ARMOR. His macro-fiscal work includes sub-national fiscal analysis that contributed to the development of Nigeria’s first subnational fiscal and debt database and enhanced the World Bank’s fiscal engagement with state governments. He has also contributed to World Bank’s flagship reports, including the Nigeria Development Update (NDU) and the Country Economic Memorandum (CEM).
In addition to his work with the World Bank, Dr. Shuaibu has consulted for the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) on the National Agriculture Investment Plan (NAIP) project; the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) on the impact of exchange rates on different segments of the Nigerian economy in 2016, and for the Nigerian government on the AfCFTA impact and readiness assessment, which informed Nigeria’s assent to the regional trade agreement in 2019. In 2012, he also provided consultancy for ECOWAS on external reserve pooling and the ongoing harmonization of budget processes and practices of Member States. A widely published scholar, Dr. Shuaibu holds a BSc in Economics from Bayero University Kano, and an MSc and a PhD in Economics from the University of Ibadan.
