Ms. Ijeoma Uju is a Partner at Templars, one of the largest and reputable law firms in Africa. She holds an LLB from the University of Ibadan and she is admitted to practice law in Nigeria with a BL from the Nigerian Law School. She is also a Chartered Secretary and Governance Specialist.

With almost two decades of experience as a commercial solicitor, she routinely advises on Nigerian law and policy affecting the operation of businesses across various sectors, the acquisitions, mergers and restructuring of businesses and foreign investments in Nigeria. She oversees a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, providing strategic advice and guidance on compliance and corporate governance to the boards of such companies.

In the course of her legal career, she has been involved in the establishment of several companies in Nigeria including start-ups, SMEs, NGOs, foreign subsidiaries and enterprises operating within and outside tax-free zones and she continues to render business-focused legal support throughout the lifespan of these companies.

She has been recognised by the Legal 500 as a Leading Individual (Corporate & Commercial Tier 1) and as a recommended lawyer in the Who is Who Legal ranking.
