Twenty Nigerians working in different policy spheres have been selected by Agora Policy to participate in the inaugural cohort of its Policy Writing Fellowship. Supported by the MacArthur Foundation, the three-month fellowship is designed to hone the policy writing skills of the participants and expand the capacity for data-driven engagement among policy actors within the country.
The fellows will participate in a series of physical and virtual workshops, which will be delivered through a mixture of lectures, case studies and experience-sharing.
Each fellow, guided by assigned supervisors/mentors, is expected to research and write a publishable policy paper within the fellowship period.
The fellows (ten males and ten females) are drawn from public, private, civil society, media and research institutions in Nigeria.

The Policy Writing Fellowship is part of the Policy Support, Deepening and Engagement (PSDE) project of Agora Policy.
